The Tracking Corporation Will Bring GPS Devices to School Buses: Newest Program for Niagara Falls School District

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - September 17, 2007) - The Tracking Corporation (PINKSHEETS: TRKG) today announces a public-private partnership between The Tracking Corporation and Niagara Falls School District that will allow the district's school buses to be equipped with GPS technology within the next few months to track the movement of the buses and eventually students.

"Anything we can do to support young people getting to and from school safely is worth being involved in," State Senator Antoine Thompson, D-Buffalo, said at a conference announcing the initiative Tuesday at Niagara Street School. Buffalo and Niagara Falls will be the second area for the national pilot US Yellow School Bus® (YSB) Safe Schools, Campus, and Communities Initiative www.usyellowschoolbus.org program, which started in Maryland. "It's part of what we are," said Deputy Superintendent Cynthia Bianco. "This is a great program."

"The safety of America's children is critical for all parents, teachers, first emergency responders, law enforcement, and national security. The YSB's ability to enhance interoperable communications between parents and public safety officials in times of emergency will strengthen the capacity of national and local agencies to assure the safety of school children," said United States Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"It is beyond excitement for us to have chosen a great GPS Company such as The Tracking Corporation. Reviewing all the proposals we could not pass up the superior technology and turn key solutions they currently provide the GPS Market. With The Tracking Corporation we were able to make the decision based on the best hardware and software packages," said Russ Gugino, Sr. V.P., Millennium Technologies, a Minority-Veteran owned and operated enterprise, which founded the YSB program.

"Innovative new products and investments in transporting students safely will set us apart from competitors that boast of being GPS enabled," said CEO of The Tracking Corporation, Jerry Grisaffi. The Tracking Corporation builds on proven GPS technology with the integration of a 24-hour, seven days a week, live Monitoring and Support Center and two-way satellite communication. This innovative advancement offers school districts the potential for significant transportation cost reductions through efficient routing and scheduling processes and tremendous advances in safety.

"By combining our Products and Services, we are able to exponentially expand upon the number of schools and students our technology can help protect," Jerry Grisaffi, CEO of The Tracking Corporation explains. "We will now deliver the ability to monitor virtually every aspect of a school's transportation process through the use of our hardware technology and our software solutions, tied directly to the school district databases, if they so choose." Grisaffi goes on to add, "Ultimately, each school will have the safety and security of knowing the exact location and status of their fleet. They will have automatic notification of any critical event and will even have the ability to remotely disable or shut down a bus in the event of an emergency through The Tracking Corporation 24/7 Monitoring and Support Center and local law enforcement."

After being installed into each bus, the units will allow the central bus garage and other district officials to monitor the progress and speed of each bus, making sure the buses get where they need to be in a safe fashion. "Bus drivers can use the devices to make calls," Hap Flaherty of The Tracking Corporation said. "An emergency button will accompany each GPS unit to allow the driver to seek help in an instant. There won't be any more waiting for the bus to get back to the garage," he added. The Tracking Corporation will install roughly one hundred and fifty of the district's school buses with GPS Devices.
