TradeCard Appoints Managing Director in Europe to Drive Business Growth

Apparel, Footwear & Retail Industry Veteran Esther Lutz to Grow Market Share in the Region

NEW YORK, NY and MUNICH, GERMANY--(Marketwire - March 1, 2011) - TradeCard, Inc., the supply chain collaboration platform used by more than 7,800 retailers, brands, manufacturers and service providers has appointed Esther Lutz to Managing Director of Business Development for Europe to help retailers and brands in the region deploy more responsive supply chains while maintaining low costs. In her new role in Europe, Lutz will be responsible for generating new business and cultivating relationships with customers and strategic partners.

"Retailers, brands and their supply chains are under intense pressure today to counter rising costs while meeting rigorous consumer demands," said Kurt Cavano, CEO of TradeCard, Inc. "Esther has enabled many of the leading names in apparel and footwear to connect their entire supply networks on the TradeCard Platform to be more agile, transparent and demand driven. She brings more than 20 years of supply chain experience to TradeCard Europe where she will increase market share and support the growing volume of transactions on the TradeCard network that involve European organizations."

The TradeCard Platform connects entire supply networks and provides a single version of the truth for all trading partners, enabling them to perform as a strategic supply chain rather than individual parties.

"Businesses in Europe face the same challenges we're seeing globally," said Lutz. "They're asking, 'How can I generate better supply chain transparency? How can I compensate for rising costs of raw materials, labor and shipping? How can I ensure that my suppliers have access to necessary capital?' We're helping companies leverage software-as-a-service technology in the supply chain to solve these problems and reduce costs by improving visibility, collaboration and cash flow."

Lutz will be based out of Munich, Germany. She joined TradeCard in 2005 as vice president of business development based in New York. Prior to joining TradeCard she spent 14 years with SAP helping retail, apparel and footwear companies obtain excellence in the supply chain.
