Tradyo Introduces Video Listings to Buy and Sell App

Video listings will allow users to upload a 15 second video to their posts

Tradyo, a local mobile classified app, has just launched video integration; a brand new feature that will change the way people can buy and sell their used goods online. This means that sellers posting items will have the ability to take a 15-second video to sell products instead of just featuring photos.

According to Invodo Video Commerce Benchmarks Report 2014, buyers who view video are nearly 1.6x more likely to purchase than those who do not. Furthermore, a report by E-marketer states that three-quarters of digital video viewers found it helpful to watch a video before making a purchase.

Video will permit the sellers to show the actual functionality as well as the working order of the goods that they are trying to sell. So, if someone is selling a smart phone, for example, they can easily show that the phone turns on, and that all the functions work - something that cannot be shown in photos. This of course creates more trust and confidence between seller and buyer. It also allows sellers to showcase cool features or even instructional-type videos on how to use a certain item.

The new feature is now available for both Apple and Android devices. With Tradyo, users can post easily by taking a photo and/or video of the item they want to sell, add the price and description, and they're done. Tradyo is also designed to make use of chat messaging - so users can arrange their transactions safely. The app offers a fun and easy way for consumers to buy items they need locally, or sell items they no longer need. Tradyo has been designed to be local, which means a user can see available items for sale that are newest and nearest to them. Buyers can also set alerts for the items they're looking for to get first dibs on those listings.

With the newly added function, Tradyo is hoping that more people will be encouraged to try the app and find out how they can benefit from it.
