COLUMBIA, MO--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) - Train Travel Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: TTHX) (www.traintravelholdings.com), announced the successful launch of its new Railroad Roundtrip tours, harnessing the expansive resources of Amtrak and other long-distance passenger railroads, and begins a focused program to support the local communities where its trains operate by marking the 150th Anniversary of a famed Civil War Train Raid which occurred September 7, 1864 just outside of its terminus city, Centralia, Missouri.

Consistent with its strategy of delivering memorable train events to people of all ages and demographic backgrounds, the Company has successfully launched its new service, Railroad Roundtrip™ tours which offer guests the opportunity to patronize the Company's Columbia Star Dinner Train, traveling primarily by train. This service encourages travelers to take a passenger train using any of three different Amtrak routes to the Columbia, MO area, and experience the Columbia Star Dinner Train. Train Travel provides a shuttle service to and from the Amtrak station, visits to a variety of local attractions, a premium Dinner Train package, and lodging accommodations through Train Travel's hotel partners, in one convenient travel package. Train Travel's guests pay one simple rate and utilize Amtrak trains on three separate routes -- "Missouri River Runner Route", "Southwest Chief Route" and the "Chicago-Quincy Illinois Route" featuring both the Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg trains. The Company's guests can now travel to Columbia, Missouri by a combination of train and Train Travel shuttle from St. Louis to Kansas City, Los Angeles, California to Chicago, Illinois, Chicago, Illinois and Quincy, Illinois and of course, all points in between. This is a completely unique travel package for this industry. The Company's Reservations Staff can offer the quests a wide variety of events and options to fill their extra time around the Columbia Star Dinner Train experience.

In keeping with Train Travel's commitment to contribute to the local communities where its trains operate, the Company also featured two special trains last weekend that commemorated the 150th anniversary of a Civil War train raid that occurred just outside of Centralia, MO on September 7, 1864. The event was sold out to operating capacity for both of its weekend performances and received positive press coverage as well as excellent reviews by attendees. The Civil War Train Raid is scheduled again for next year and will become one of Train Travel's annual destination events for the Mid Missouri area.

TTHX has also expanded its Columbia schedule to include many unique Children's Themed Trains, such as its new Princess Lunch Train™ and its new Friday Night Escape™ Live Entertainment Trains. Added to its established Premium Dinner Trains, these features are all part of the Company's strategy for expanding the business of each dinner train it acquires or launches.

B. Allen Brown, President & CEO of Train Travel Holdings Inc. stated, "The Company's focus on popular train events will provide its guests with reasons to patronize the Company's trains multiple times during the year, beyond its regularly scheduled dinner trains. The Company's new Customer Service focus, and offering unique ways to visit its dinner trains by leveraging Amtrak passenger trains, set us apart from other retail train operations and provide us with a proven model. These steps should enable the Company to usher in a new era of passenger train travel and retail train experiences."
