Trainer Communications Awarded Platinum and Gold MarCom Awards

Trainer's Integrated Marketing Campaigns Recognized in International Competition

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - Trainer Communications, a full-service public relations, integrated marketing, and social media agency serving the enterprise and consumer technology sectors, today announced that it received Platinum and Gold Marcom Awards from the International Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals.

The awards represent outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals who participate in one of the largest international creative competitions. Judges recognized Trainer for the ultimate award in the competition -- Platinum -- for a recent corporate launch, as well as for a Gold award for another recent campaign:

  • The Platinum MarCom Award -- the panel of judges saluted Trainer for its comprehensive promotion campaign, "Launching Lam Aviation to Soar at Great Heights." The launch included designing a 14-page website, creating and editing multiple videos, redesigning Lam's existing logo, and developing trade show signage and launch collateral based on strategic messaging that Trainer had developed. As a result of this successful launch, Trainer secured coverage in the top three aviation publications and prepared Lam for a successful showing at the world-renowned AirVenture Oshkosh air show.
  • The Gold MarCom Award -- Trainer received this award for a third consecutive year for its communications campaign, "Zooming Zazzle to the Zenith and Then Keeping Them There." This six-month campaign was comprised of strategic top-tier business publication coverage, holiday gift guide placements, and national consumer broadcast segments, resulting in billions of impressions worldwide. Mike Karns, director of marketing at Zazzle, comments in this video what it's like working with Trainer Communications.

"The beauty of the MarCom awards we received this year is that they both validate two very different skills Trainer offers -- successful national launches for new businesses and consistently high-level coverage for established companies," said Susan Thomas, CEO, Trainer Communications. "We strive to meet the needs of all our clients, regardless of their size. Receiving these awards demonstrates that our campaigns create value for our clients that helps drive their businesses beyond merely PR results."
