TRAIS Introduces Highly Accurate Passive Pen Compatible With All Capacitive Displays

TRAIS to Showcase New Passive Pen and Touch, Fingerprint Technology at the 2016 Mobile World Congress Conference in Barcelona

BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwired - February 16, 2016) -  World Mobile Congress Conference -- TRAIS America, a global leader in electronic module technology located in San Jose, California introduces an advanced passive pen that works with all capacitive displays.

These days it is common for users to naturally write directly on the displays of smartphones, tablets, and computers using a digital stylus pen.

However, most existing active stylus pens imitate natural writing which can affect the accuracy and speed of the writing on the display. Active stylus pens can also be expensive and require batteries that quickly die and need to be replaced.

In response to these existing issues and weaknesses of current active stylus pens, TRAIS has released its new passive stylus pen that ensures users a great natural writing experience at an affordable price.

The TRAIS passive pen not only displays intuitive calligraphic movement and writing but, also senses the pressure and angle of the pen, displaying the thickness of the lines. The result is no difference between actual paper and on-display of the user's writing. Therefore, the TRAIS passive pen display writings similar to conventional pencils, Asian style brushes, fountain pens and more.

TRAIS provides stylus pen users the ability to enjoy and fully express natural smart writing in an affordable, lightweight design compared to existing active pens which are heavy and thicker than the normal pens, not comfortable to carry around, and expensive to replace if lost.

According to Kwang-Gu Lee, CEO of TRAIS, "We are very excited to bring a new generation smart pen with advanced technology and features to the marketplace. Together with our global partners, TRAIS will continue to innovate and provide new technology to smartphone and mobile devices in the U.S."

TRAIS will be exhibiting at the 2016 Mobile World Congress Conference in Barcelona, Spain from February 22-25. Hall 7, Stand 7G61.
