(TSX:TCL.SV.A)(TSX:TCL.MV.B) triumphed in two categories at the eighth
annual IR Magazine gala, the premiere Canadian investor relations
awards, held last night at Toronto's Royal York Hotel. First, Stephane
Milot, the Corporation's director of public and investor relations, won
Best Investor Relations Officer in the "Small Cap" category.

and respect," said Luc Desjardins, Transcontinental's president and CEO.
"We have long recognized the importance of investors, with every
decision we make aimed at the well-being of our employees, customers and
shareholders, the three pillars of the Corporation. I especially want to
congratulate Stephane, whose tireless efforts have significantly
increased Transcontinental's profile with the investment community."

For his part, Stephane Milot, who has been with Transcontinental since

investors have enjoyed over the past number of years now," he said. "My
job is made that much easier - and more fun - by the rigorous finance
team that surrounds me, and by the collaboration and support of everyone
at head office and in our operations."
