TransGaming Signs New Evaluation Agreement for the GameTree(TM) TV Platform in Asia

Trials to Begin with One of the Largest Broadband Service Providers in the Region

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 5, 2012) - TransGaming Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TNG), the global leader in the multiplatform deployment of games, today announced that it has signed an evaluation agreement for GameTree™ TV with another top broadband service provider in the Asia region.

The agreement begins the process of lab and field trials this fall towards commercial deployment of GameTree TV, TransGaming's premier on-demand interactive entertainment platform for Smart TV. Delivering a deep catalog of globally recognized gaming brands for a broad family demographic, GameTree TV features innovations such as proprietary multi-screen technology that allows tablets and smartphones to be used as additional screens and controllers on existing set-top boxes.

Full commercial availability of GameTree TV on this service provider is expected in calendar 2013, beginning with major cities in the region. The service provider, which cannot currently be named due to confidentiality agreements, is expected to deliver broadband access to in excess of 100 million homes in the next three years.

"As the Asian region continues to rapidly adopt next generation Smart TV set-top boxes, providers are hungry for innovative, on-demand interactive content for the literally hundreds of millions of homes they service. GameTree TV fills that void by delivering a truly remarkable and socially engaging experience," commented Vikas Gupta, CEO & President of TransGaming Inc. "The increasing adoption of GameTree TV in one of the most competitive and fastest emerging regions in the world proves the advantage gained from TransGaming's consumer products. Service providers are recognizing that GameTree TV demonstrates the true potential of a connected living room experience, and they want it more than ever."
