Transifex Secures $4 Million in New Funding, Plans to Grow Engineering Team in Greece

Investment Marks Importance of Localization for Companies to Reach Global Audiences

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2015) - Greece-born Transifex, a leading Localization Automation Platform (LAP) provider for modern technology companies and Open Source communities alike, today announced it has secured $4 million in Series A funding, led by Toba Capital with participation from seed VC investors NEA, Arafura Ventures and angels, including Parse founder Ilya Sukhar. This round will be used to continue to innovate in product development and expand marketing and sales to support its momentum in the localization automation market.
