Translation and Interpretation Services Sought at Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - September 09, 2016) - The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide translation and interpretation services for a base year starting October 1, 2016 and ending September 30, 2017. Interested contractors must be able to furnish all labor, equipment, and skilled and certified personnel to provide and conduct the services.

Services will include, but are not limited to, furnishing the necessary personnel, materials, services, and otherwise do all things necessary for and incidental to providing American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter services in compliance with the Federal Rehabilitation Act pursuant to orders of the Michael E. DeBakey Veteran Affairs Medical Center (MEDVAMC). Services are typically required Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, services can be required any time during a 24-hour day to allow access to patients and employees during all shifts.

This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 541930, and the small business size standard is $7.5 Million.

  • Technical quote with price proposal
  • Completed Past Performance questionnaire, which must include pertinent information from one similar job in scope and magnitude
