Transparent Technologies Extends Operational Support Services to Emerging Companies in Cable and Telecom

ATLANTA, GEORGIA--(CCNMatthews - April 5, 2006) - Transparent Technologies, Inc. (TTi) ( is extending its Operational Support Services to small and medium-size companies who supply products and services to the cable TV and telecom industries.

"Advanced services operators intending to deploy in the months ahead require their vendors to have a substantial and scalable support infrastructure," says Transparent Technologies president and CEO Steve Blackmon. "To meet this need, we are now offering a suite of services, including system integration, inventory management, deployment, technical support and backchannel network management for headend equipment. We intend to use our existing infrastructure (managing equipment in more than 2,000 facilities), veteran industry experience and 7x24 network operations center (NOC) to support these emerging companies nationwide as they take their products to market."

By developing a core-competency in operational support services, TTi enables its partners to concentrate on their own products. TTi also recognizes not all companies need the full range of services they offer.

"Each service is available stand-alone or packaged with others," says TTi director of operations Craig Ibold. "We have some customers that rely only on our NOC, and other customers use our full suite of system integration, deployment, warehousing and NOC support services. Our service offerings are designed to be flexible with our customers in mind depending on their mission-critical needs."

Historically, TTi provided services to the cable and telecom service providers first by offering system integration solutions. These services quickly expanded into inventory management, deployment and 7x24 support from its in-house NOC.

"It's clear these services make TTi a unique fit in the industry," adds Blackmon. "Young, growing companies with a proficiency of enabling enhanced technologies are typically not efficient at operating and supporting their products. Our operational support services complement these organizations by giving them a solid implementation structure. Operators are then more likely to use the products and services offered by our clients."

TTi will promote its services at the NCTA National Show in Atlanta on April 9-11, 2006.
