Tranzeo Wireless Announces New Super Series Access Point

PITT MEADOWS, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2007) - Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TSX:TZT), a leading producer of high-performance wireless broadband communication systems, announces the availability of its new high-performance, long-range wireless access point (AP). The unit, dubbed the 'Super AP' by the company's many followers and beta testers, has been the subject of much discussion in the wireless ISP industry.

Available in two models, each is designed for outdoor environments to function as a long-range access point or bridge in unlicensed frequency bands. The ER-1000HA unit is an 802.11a radio for the 5.8GHz band, while the ER-1000HG is an 802.11b/g radio for the 2.4GHz band. Both models offer advanced features such as multiple ESSID's and robust routing complete with FCC certifications.

"The nickname Super AP fits this product well. It's a single unit high performance platform designed for hot spot, enterprise, and point-to-multipoint applications at a fraction of the price today's customers expect. In addition, it's backed by Tranzeo's three-year warranty and life-time customer support," explained Jim Tocher, CEO and President of Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc.

To allow maximum range, the transmit power of the ER-1000HA is +23 dBm and +26 dBm for the ER-1000HG. Both models include an N-connector for convenient installation with network features such as VLAN support, DHCP relay, VPN client and pass-through, and routing protocols. Diagnostic features such as event logs, packets, capture and DHCP relay tester ensure trouble-free deployment and operation.

Tranzeo Wireless will continue offering its comprehensive TR line of access point. The ER series is the first new access point platform introduced by Tranzeo Wireless in three years and is designed to complement and extend the functionality of the company's earlier and very successful TR models.

"This product was designed to assist our customers in upgrading their networks to support VOIP and other new technologies," said Damian Wallace, Vice President of Product Development for Tranzeo. "In the future, we will be releasing additional abilities to the platform, such as WiMAX and Mesh--abilities that the hardware is designed to support today. Once again we are attempting to maximize our customers return on investment."
