Travana Networks Incorporated Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire CableTec Group of Companies

HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- Charles Shirley, CEO of Travana Networks Incorporated (PINKSHEETS: MRDV), has signed a letter of intent to acquire all of the ownership shares of CableTec Business Network Solutions Inc. and also CableTec Business Telecommunications Limited both of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, including the subsidiary, CableTec Business Telecommunications Newfoundland Limited, collectively "CableTec."

Shirley commented: "We are very pleased to be moving forward with the acquisition of CableTec. This acquisition will position the company for further growth through consolidation of established business network service providers in Canada and the United States."
