Travel Advantage Network Employees Wave Patriotic Flag in Support of Troops During Holiday Season

MILLERSVILLE, MD--(Marketwire - January 27, 2011) - This past holiday season, employees of Travel Advantage Network (TAN), a wholesale vacation accommodations program, helped support the men and women of our United States military as they returned home from tours of duty overseas.

In support of the tireless volunteers of Operation Welcome Home Maryland, TAN employees donated items needed for courtesy bags handed out to the returning troops, presented the organization with a cash donation of $500, and supported the volunteers by attending two flight arrivals at Baltimore/Washington International Airport's international terminal, where employees were able to greet the soldiers firsthand, cheer them on, and thank them for their selfless and inspiring efforts.

The month-long initiative was championed by TAN employee Jill Delaney, in hopes of showing a token of the enormous appreciation felt by many for the sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed services. 

"TAN is proud to have been a part of this amazing organization during the month of December. We could find no better way to end our year-long support of charities, and we are reminded that support of organizations like Operation Welcome Home Maryland is needed as much throughout the year as it is during the holidays," says Brad Callahan, TAN president. "We look forward to working with Operation Welcome Home again in the future."
