Trelawney Engages Pro-Edge Consultants for Investor Relations

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 21, 2009) - Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TRR) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Pro-Edge Consultants Inc. ("Pro-Edge") of Toronto, Ontario to provide investor relations services to the Company. Fred Cowans a principal of Pro-Edge and managing partner is experienced in providing shareholder communication services for junior mining companies having worked in the financial and brokerage industries for over 35 years.

Pro-Edge will provide general shareholder communication services including investor communications, trade show development and advertising assistance. Pro-Edge will work closely with Company management to strategize, implement, and enhance shareholder value through an effective investor relations program. The Company's agreement with Pro-Edge, which is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, is for an initial term of 12 months which term may be extended by mutual agreement of both parties in writing. Trelawney will pay Pro-Edge a monthly fee for services of $5,000 plus reasonable pre-approved travel and sundry expenses. Pro-Edge will also receive 200,000 share options with an exercise price of $0.37.
