TrenStar Named One of Top Supply and Demand Chain Vendors for Second Consecutive Year

DENVER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 13, 2005 -- Mobile asset management specialist TrenStar Inc. is recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine as one of the top supply and demand chain vendors for the second consecutive year.

Supply & Demand Chain Executive's fourth-annual "Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100" lists TrenStar as one of 100 solution providers found by the magazine's judging committee to use technologies, services or both to address and solve pain points in the supply and demand chain and to have the results of the initiatives produce a substantial return on investment.

The selection criteria for this year's "100" list centered on how end users of supply chain technology are working with solution providers to enable their supply and demand chains. TrenStar was selected because among other reasons the company reduced costs by ten percent for brewing customer Carlsberg UK Ltd.

Founded in 2001, TrenStar is the first company to offer a complete mobile asset management solution to customers including Firestone Polymers and Kraft Foods Inc. TrenStar's outsourced solution combines asset acquisition and management services enabled by tracking technology including radio frequency identification (RFID). TrenStar is also the first company to offer this combination of technology and services to support a pooling program for common, non-strategic containers and other mobile assets designed to enable lowered average variable costs and improved customer service levels for members.

"The Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 is one way in which our magazine tries to help readers navigate the complex landscape of supply and demand chain solutions and service providers," explained Andrew Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. "The '100' list of companies is designed to showcase providers that have completed successful and innovative real-life supply chain implementations and give our readers a starting place when looking for solutions to their own supply chain pain points."

"We're honored to be recognized again this year for how we translate our vision into value for our customers," said TrenStar chief executive officer Greg Cronin. "We are the best RFID story out there because we are tracking more things of more value than any other company. Plus, we are showcasing real-world implementations, not pilots. Our customers are actually reducing operating expenses, improving their customer service and eliminating a resource drain that's been plaguing them for years."
