Tri-Gold Resources Corp.: Drilling To Commence on Stake Lake

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 13, 2007) - Tri-Gold Resources Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TAL) is pleased to announce that a drill is due to arrive on the site of the Company's Stake Lake Copper Gold property today, August 13, and will begin drilling shortly hereafter. As previously reported, this drill program is designed to test a series of Induced Polarization anomalies hosting gold, copper and silver mineralization. A minimum of 1,600 meters of drilling has been planned, which may well be extended depending on the availability of both the rig and crew.

On the Company's Sibley Basin Uranium Project, the results of the follow-up ground radiometric survey, which was completed towards the end of July, 2007, is currently undergoing a detailed assessment. The result of this analysis will be used to finalize an initial diamond drill program within the Sibley Basin project area, which is still scheduled to commence in the late summer or fall of 2007, targeting unconformity style and basement hosted uranium targets.
