TriAusMin Limited Announces Resignation of Dr James Gill as a Director of Heron


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 19, 2014) - TriAusMin Limited (ASX:TRO)(TSX:TOR) ("TriAusMin" or the "Company") announces that Dr James W Gill has resigned as a Director and Deputy Chairman of Heron Resources Limited (ASX:HRR) ("Heron"). Further to its press release dated 6 August 2014, the previously announced scheme of arrangement between the Company and Heron will be implemented, and the Company's shares will be suspended from trading on the TSX, at close of trading today (Toronto time), and the trading of the merged entity's shares will commence at market open on the TSX tomorrow, 20 August 2014, under the trading symbol "HER".

The Board of Directors of Heron advises that Dr James W Gill has resigned as a Director and Deputy Chairman of the Company effective immediately. The Board wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr Gill for the valuable contribution made in the recent merger between Heron and TriAusMin Limited that has led to the creation of a well-capitalised base and precious metals company. The Board would also like to take this opportunity to wish Dr Gill all the best for the future.
