Tribute Announces It Will Update 43-101 on the Arrow Zone Garnet Lake Property

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2007) - Tribute Minerals Inc. (the "Company' or "Tribute") (TSX VENTURE:TBM) announces it has hired Broad Oak Associates to update the previously released resource estimate for its Garnet Lake Property. The results of the original 43-101 filed on SEDAR and entitled "Technical Report on the Resources at Garnet Lake, Confederation Belt, Red Lake, Ontario Canada" dated July 12, 2006 prepared by Broad Oak Associates are outlined below.

At a cut-off grade of 5% zinc equivalent, the Broad Oak Associates estimation resulted in an indicated resource of 1.278 million tonnes plus an inferred resource of 574,000 tonnes as presented in the following table:

Category Tonnes Zn Cu Au Ag
(%) (%) (g/t) (g/t)

Indicated 1,278,000 8.12 0.81 0.64 22.9
Inferred 574,000 4.34 0.87 0.76 22.3

At a 10% zinc equivalent

Indicated 507,000 16.3 1.25 0.82 28.9

Resource estimations were based on two chosen cut-off grades of 10% and 5% Zn equivalent, which is equal to the Zn (wt.%) plus 2.4 Cu (wt.%). Gold and silver values were not incorporated into the cut-off grades.

Until an economic evaluation is completed, the economic cut off for this deposit is unknown. Mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. Independent Consulting Mining Engineer, Geoff Carter, PEng, of Broad Oak Associates supervised the resource estimation and is the qualified person under National Instrument 43-101.

The Company currently has 56,449,110 common shares issued and outstanding.
