Tribute Intersects High Grade Indium

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 15, 2007) - Tribute Minerals Inc. (the 'Company' or 'Tribute') (TSX VENTURE:TBM) is pleased to announce results from its winter drilling program on its Garnet and Copperlode properties. Preliminary analyses are reported for Hole CL-2007-01 on the Copperlode Property which had intersected two sulphide rich zones hosting visible base metal sulphides. Results for the upper zone are 2.42% Zn, 0.20% Cu, 21.7 g/t Ag and 60.1 g/t Indium over 4.5 metres (3.6 metres true width) from 439.0 - 443.5 metres downhole. Grades as high as 6.19% Zn and 146.5 grams Indium were encountered. Analyses are still pending for the lower zone from this hole.

The existence of high grade Indium had only previously been documented on the Garnet Lake property, and shows that this commodity may be an important component in the Confederation Lake VMS occurrences.

Drill holes GL-2007-42, -43 and -44 for the Garnet Property, collared on the northwest side of Garnet Lake 500 metres west along strike from the western extension of the Arrow Zone, intersected multiple-sections containing disseminated to massive iron sulphides hosted in altered volcanic rocks with best results of 3.0 metres of 1.53% Zn, 0.33% Cu, 33.5 g/t Ag, and 7.5 g/t Indium, and 0.4 metres of 2.04% Zn, 0.26% Cu, 4.05 g/t Ag, and 10.1 g/t Indium. Drill testing of favorable geological and geophysical targets west of the Arrow Zone continues.

Core samples were split in half using a diamond saw and sealed in secure packages, shipped by bonded carrier from Ear Falls to ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay for preparation, and to ALS Chemex in North Vancouver for AU-AA62 assay (gold by fire assay with AA finish) and ME-MS61 47 element analysis (4 acid dissolution and ICP-MS). High analyses ( greater than 10,000 ppm, 1%) for copper, zinc and ( greater than 100 ppm) silver were submitted for ore grade AA62 analysis (4 acid dissolution with AA finish). A duplicate unknown to the laboratory is submitted per batch of ten samples. A polymetallic standard, unknown to the laboratories, is included with each submission of samples. ALS Chemex fulfilled standard QA/QC protocols. The Confederation Lake exploration program is under the direction of Trevor Boyd, P.Geo, Geological Consultant, Tribute, and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.
