Trifacta Names Dan Niemann as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 7, 2014) - Trifacta, a Data Transformation Platform provider, today announced that Dan Niemann joined the company as vice president of worldwide field operations. Niemann has over 15 years of experience growing technology companies and has held entrepreneurial roles at both established vendors and startups. He joins Trifacta from Informatica and is responsible for Trifacta's field operations, business development and sales strategy.

Prior to Trifacta, Niemann managed alliances and sales at Informatica for a number of new initiatives, including the company's first real-time, EDI, and cloud product offerings. As vice president sales & business development for Informatica Cloud, Niemann defined the go-to-market strategy and built the sales organization. During his tenure, Informatica's subscription business grew to over $50 million in annual revenue. Niemann began his software career at the mobile analytics startup, Zimba. As part of the founding team at Zimba, he was responsible for building the company's sales channel including the relationship with Hewlett Packard.
