Trillium CNG™ Opens Its First Florida Public Compressed Natural Gas Station in Tampa

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Nov 15, 2013) - Trillium CNG, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: TEG), opened its first public-access compressed natural gas station today at Dillon Transport, 4612 S. 50th St., Tampa, Fla. It is the first of two public CNG stations Trillium has planned for Tampa; the second station was announced Oct. 21 at GasKwick. Both locations are near the Port of Tampa, Interstate 75 and U.S. Route 41, and will support heavy-duty trucking.

Dillon Transport, the anchor tenant, signed a fuel purchase agreement with Trillium for its Tampa-based fleet of 55 semi-trailer trucks. The CNG station will allow three vehicles to fuel simultaneously and includes Trillium CNG's fast-fill hydraulic intensifier which will be supported by its 24/7 rapid response team.

"Infrastructure is a vital component of sustainability and economic development," said Mary Boettcher, president of Trillium CNG. "In support of Florida's Natural Gas Fuel Fleet Vehicle Rebate Program, Trillium CNG has made a commitment to provide robust CNG fueling infrastructure. Using CNG as a transportation fuel will reduce Florida's carbon footprint and provide transportation companies with a reduction in their fuel budgets."
