TriNet Appoints Kerry Langstaff as Executive Director of Marketing

Seasoned Technology Expert Will Lead HR Provider's Communications Strategy and Implementation

SAN LEANDRO, CA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2011) - TriNet, the country's largest private provider of human resources outsourcing solutions to small businesses, today announced the appointment of Kerry Langstaff as executive director of marketing. In this role, Langstaff is tasked with increasing TriNet's market share in core markets, driving brand awareness, and enhancing client communications. Langstaff brings more than 20 years experience and will immediately focus on creating customer-centric organization.

Langstaff is based at the company's San Leandro headquarters, reporting to Goldfield. Prior to being named executive director, Langstaff was senior marketing director with SAP Americas, where she led its channel marketing program.

Previously, Langstaff was a vice president at Quova, a provider of IP geolocation data and a TriNet customer. She led the company's worldwide marketing activities and spoke frequently at industry events on the subject of Internet personalization, fraud and privacy issues, as well as authored several articles on the subject. Quova was recently acquired by mobile messaging, DNS and registry services company Neustar.

Before Quova, Langstaff was principal of Langstaff Communications, which focused on serving clients in the networking and security industries, including Silicon Valley heavyweights Cisco and Juniper. She was also with 3Com (now HP), where she served for more than 10 years as a director, in charge of worldwide marketing communications programs for the network switching, routing and security solutions company.

Langstaff holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from San Diego State University as well as an Accredited in Public Relations credential from the Public Relations Society of America. Langstaff has held board positions in the Silicon Valley chapter of the PRSA as well as the International Association of Business Communicators. She has received more than a dozen awards for her work in marketing and PR.
