Trinity Comes Up With a Large Copper-Gold-Silver Play at its Manarsa Tres Property, Northern Peru

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwire - April 22, 2009) - TRINITY MINING HOLDING AG ("Trinity" or the "Company") (FRANKFURT:TKX) is pleased to announce that a large 1.5 km by 0.75 km I.P. anomaly (see attached figure available at the following address:, interpreted to be associated with a potential large copper-gold-silver disseminated mineralization, has been detected in a recent geophysical survey conducted on its 600 hectares Manarsa Tres property located in the department of La Libertad in Northern Peru.

The anomaly is interpreted to indicate the presence of a body of sulphides, located 50m from surface and increasing in size with depth. This sulphide body has a spatial relation with observed surface mineralization in the form of copper-gold-silver veins. Initial prospecting shows that some of these veins can be followed over a distance of more than one kilometre. Limited channel sampling have often returned values of interest, the best of them being 5.1% Cu, 4.8 g/t Ag and 0.4 g/t Au across a width of 1.2 meters. These veins show a pinch and swell pattern in an area partially covered by overburden, thus preventing a thorough evaluation of the veins by prospection alone.

The Manarsa Tres property in which Trinity can earn a 100% participation on a three year option is located in the Rio Maranon area of Northern Peru, East of the coastal city of Trujillo and North-East of the town of Huamachuco. The property is found in the prolific Pataz gold camp which includes the: Poderosa (Arias Group), Parcoy (Horizonte) and San Andres (Marsano) mines. The recent construction of an access road in this area makes it much easier to conduct exploration work on the property.

Trinity is planning follow-up exploration work, consisting in diamond drilling, to test the anomaly for its mining potential. In the event that the anomaly is indeed related to disseminate sulphide mineralization, the volume or tonnage will certainly be of consequence. Will it be of economic value? This is what the company intend to test.

Trinity Mining Holding A.G. is a Swiss company with its head office in Zurich, its operating office in Montreal, Canada and a field office in Lima, Peru. The company's objective is to find large tonnage, low grade gold-silver and/or base metal deposits amenable to low cost open pit operation. Trinity focuses its activities in Peru where it has secured three projects. The very promising Caupar gold-silver property in the Alto Chicama area, close to Barricks' Lagunas Norte mine (See the April 16th, 2009 press release) . The Nayca gold-silver play in Southern Peru where the property is surrounded by Newmont and Yamana, where pervasive presence of anomalous gold values are found within a 4.0 km by 2.0 km alteration zone and, finally, the Manarsa Tres copper-gold project, object of this press release.
