COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwired - Jan 17, 2014) - Trinity Pension Consultants has announced the hiring of Brian Smith as its newest Retirement Plan Consultant in the Columbus office. Smith comes to Trinity with more than 14 years of experience in the industry.
As a Retirement Plan Consultant, Smith will provide clients and prospects with guidance and consultative services in the areas of ERISA, strategic plan design, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities. Smith will also specialize in conducting seminars and workshops at industry events.

Prior to joining Trinity, Smith served as the director of sales for the Tegrit Group and also as a sales manager for Baden Retirement Plan Services. Smith spent more than eight years with Nationwide Financial as a regional vice president in the group retirement and 401k division, as well as two years with Guardian. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in science from the Max M. Fisher College of Business.
Smith lives in Powell, Ohio with his wife, Amber, and their three sons Trevor, Garrett and Colton. Along with his passion for all things relating to The Ohio State University, Brian enjoys snow skiing, golfing, and is an avid outdoorsman.
