triOS Kitchener Campus Makes Spirits Bright With the First Annual Toy Drive!

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 22, 2010) - For the first year ever, triOS College is collecting toys for underprivileged children in the community. The Amazing triOS Toy Drive runs from now until December 10, 2010 at all triOS locations. Everyone is encouraged to visit any triOS location and drop off a new or gently used unwrapped toy.

With all triOS campuses participating, each is starting to look like Santa's Workshop! The campus that is able to collect the most toys will be awarded a holiday breakfast celebration. The Kitchener campus will be donating their toys to Anselma House (Women's Crisis Services).

"Almost each and every day I am amazed at the generosity of triOS staff and students. Our student newsletters are always filled to the brim with community efforts such as fundraising events, and food and supply drives. It seems only natural for us to heat things up during the holidays with a toy drive! We are very appreciative of everyone's generosity, and can't wait to see how many toys we can get," said triOS Marketing Manager Jason Johnston.

Even the children of our triOS employees are learning the meaning of Christmas. "I brought my two kids to the store and told them to pick out a toy for another child. Being as young as they are, they didn't really understand who these toys were going to. I had to explain that some children don't get a lot of toys and sometimes we have to help them out," explained Jason Toms, triOS Manager of Information Technology.
