Tripwire Momentum Grows With New Customer Acquisition and Record Revenue

Continued Expansion Driven by Customer Loyalty, Product Innovation and Strong Partnerships

PORTLAND, OR -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 15, 2007 --Strengthening its leadership position, Tripwire, Inc.® today announced its robust growth, ending 2006 with over 5,500 customers, ten quarters of consecutive profitability, and 29 percent year over year revenue growth, breaking the $40 million mark. With market leading technology and continued innovation, Tripwire Enterprise led with a 94 percent customer support renewal rate and 540 new customers, driven by its ability to monitor the entire IT infrastructure for configuration changes.

Tripwire Enterprise hit a nerve with the market in 2006, answering the need for increased IT operational efficiency and improved IT risk mitigation. The company announced the broadening of its solution set to address unauthorized changes made throughout the enterprise; product milestones included Tripwire Enterprise's expansion to monitor directory services, database elements, and a wide variety of new middleware, network device and file system platforms.

Tripwire expanded the breadth and depth of its management team, hiring Jim Johnson as permanent CEO. In his two years as interim CEO, Jim Johnson led the company to unprecedented growth and industry success. In order to leverage this growth in the marketplace, Tripwire hired Dan Schoenbaum as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and promoted Rob Warmack to Vice President of Product Marketing and Corporate Communications.

In 2006, Tripwire also saw mounting international demand for its solutions, growing EMEA sales 87 percent and hiring Robert Kidd as Vice President of Asia-Pacific and Latin American sales, a new position at the company. Other milestones over the last year include:
