"We want all pet owners to be able to quickly and easily access information that is critical to their pet's well-being," said veterinarian Dr. Kevin DeRemer, who founded Paws & Claws. "Whether it's a checklist for determining if their pet is sick and needs to see an emergency vet or general tips on dental care and grooming, we believe that more information pet owners have, the healthier their pets will be."

Pet owners can also learn more about how veterinarians care for their pets. The "Today's Veterinarian" section of the "Veterinary Topics" library includes information on how veterinarians are trained, how they care for animals, and the veterinarian's approach to animal wellness.

Topics include wellness care and preventive medicine, dental care, surgery, radiology, pain management, micro-chipping and more.

"From dogs and cats to pocket pets and exotic animals, we care for a wide variety of pets at our veterinary hospital," said Dr. Christina Huntsinger, a veterinarian who works with Dr. DeRemer. We designed this website to include information on all types of animals and relevant wellness tips, so not just dog and cat owners, but all pet owners, can benefit."
