Troymet's Key Area III Contains Gold-Silver-Zinc Soil Anomalies

COMOX, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 20, 2010) - Troymet Exploration Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TYE) ("Troymet" or the "Company") is pleased to update progress on its 100% owned, 7,882-hectare Key property, which is located 125 km southwest of Vanderhoof, British Columbia.

Soil sampling west of Good News Lake identified strong multi-element, multi-station soil geochemical anomalies for gold, lead, arsenic, silver and zinc, in the vicinity of a quartz eye rhyolite (see News Release of April 28, 2010). The anomalies are restricted in extent and are thought to be due to nearby, undiscovered sulphide mineralization. The anomalies overlap the GN Fault and an area of possible diatremes (breccia pipes?) where Troymet's 2010 prospecting program has identified an area of coincident gold-silver-zinc mineralization (Area III). The soil anomalies further corroborate the anomalous character of this area and its potential to host gold-silver mineralization.

The Company is planning further exploration which will include diamond drilling once permits are received, and is currently integrating available information for all recognized target areas. Future work will likely include induced polarization surveying and till sampling. The property is readily accessible along a well developed network of established forestry roads.
