True Wireless Partners With Intelligent Mechatronic Systems Inc. (IMS) to Offer iLane in the United States

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - True Wireless, a leading wireless management and solutions provider for Enterprise, Government and small to mid-sized businesses, announced that it has been selected by IMS as a US distributor for its iLane solution.

iLane is an in-car platform that is loaded with on-demand services and apps to keep you connected while you drive and the best part is -- it's powered entirely by your voice. It automatically notifies drivers of new in-coming emails and reads them on command, which users can then reply to, forward, delete or call back. In addition, iLane enables voice-interactive access to other Smartphone features and on-demand content such as calendar appointments, text messages (voice to text responses), phone calls, and a library of content including news, weather, and sports.

Currently, iLane is compatible with BlackBerry devices, but look for all new compatibility summer 2011, which will bring the power of voice interactive apps to Android devices as well. With Google's open source Smartphone platform getting the iLane treatment, Android users will be able to access services safely from the driver's seat.

"True Wireless is excited to bring iLane to the US marketplace with a new subscription model to allow drivers to interact with their Smartphone using their voice, keeping their hands on the wheel, and eyes on the road," said Steve Carter, VP Sales & Business Development at True Wireless. "iLane is an in-car application platform that can help minimize the effects of distracted driving accidents for professionals, busy parents, and young drivers."
