TrueStar Announces Resignation of Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 13, 2005) -

TrueStar Petroleum Corporation (TSX VENTURE:TPC) reports that Daniel Fox-Davies has resigned from the Board of Directors effective October 7, 2005. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Fox-Davies for his invaluable support and assistance on the Board during the last few months and welcomes his renewed role as financial advisor and capital markets representative.
