Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions Announces New Sales and Marketing Leader

LAKE FOREST, IL--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions, a leading provider of employee benefits, announces the promotion of Daniel Johnson, 53, to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously at Trustmark, Johnson was Vice President of National Account Sales. Alex Moral, Trustmark's Senior Vice President, made the announcement.

Johnson began his career in 1982 at Capitol Bankers Life Insurance Company and was also Vice President, Mass Marketing and Sales there before his departure in 1989. Over the past 25 years, he has held increasingly responsible positions in the insurance industry including Vice President at Alexander Hamilton Life. Johnson joined National Worksite Benefits as Vice President of Marketing and Sales and was President of and a founder of National Worksite Advantage (now Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions).

Johnson is a native of Milwaukee and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Area Technical College, majoring in Computer Science.
