OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - Nov 1, 2013) - TSANet (Technical Support Alliance Network), the industry's largest vendor-neutral support alliance, announced today that Mary McCoy, Vice President of worldwide Server - Support, Technology Services (TS) was appointed to the TSANet Board of Directors. Ms. McCoy was appointed to fill a vacant seat by a unanimous vote of the existing Board.
TSANet board members provide leadership and strategic direction for the organization. Recently, the board has approved several projects such as creating CRM connectors allowing engineers to engage members and remain in their internal tracking systems. "We are so looking forward to Mary's contribution at a board level. Mary brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that we plan on utilizing to move TSANet forward," said Dennis Smeltzer, TSANet president.
Mary McCoy has had a 30 plus year career at HP and has held a variety of leadership positions. She currently manages the worldwide HP Technology Services business for HP Servers. This includes product and services positioning, pricing, sales and channel training, and new product and services launches. Mary also leads the HP Enterprise Group original equipment manufacturer (OEM) services program.
Ms. McCoy joins the existing board members: Ted Williams (Red Hat), Pamela Fowler (Actian), Jill Scola (EMC), Jason Veit (Symantec), Mark Mueller (Microsoft), Narayan Anand (VMware), Jo Paulla Baca (Citrix Systems) and Armando Calderon (IBM).
