TSANet Appoints New Board Member

Board of Director Position Filled by Kieran Collins, Senior Manager, Customer Services, Strategy and Operations, EMC Corp.

OVERLAND PARK, KS--(Marketwired - October 27, 2015) - TSANet (Technical Support Alliance Network), the industry’s largest vendor neutral support alliance, has appointed Kieran Collins, Senior Manager, Customer Services, Strategy and Operations at EMC Corp., to the TSANet Board of Directors.

Kieran is responsible for business development, operations and strategic planning for EMC’s Solutions division. Based in Cork, Ireland, Kieran has been with EMC for 4 years and prior to this has worked in software development, consultancy, professional services and technical support. Kieran’s core competencies include business & strategic planning, program & change management as well the ability to drive cross functional collaboration and leadership. He has over 10 years of leadership experience in managing technical teams and enjoys mentoring staff to attain both team and personal career goals. Kieran's professional certifications include SCP Certified Support Manager, ITIL and PRINCE2 Certified Project Manager. He holds an MBA from University of College Cork, Master of Engineering from Dublin City University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Waterford Institute of Technology.

Kieran joins the existing board members: Mark Mueller (Microsoft), Ted Williams (Red Hat), Jim West (Citrix Systems), Pamela Fowler (Actian Corporation), Doug Jones (NetApp), Jim Rubish (IBM), René Karel (VMware), Uwe Schaefer (Hewlett-Packard Company), John Bunney (Cisco Systems, Inc.) and Rich Jardine (Symantec Corporation).
