Leading Association Chooses New SaaS Solution to Help Tech Companies Improve Their Service Business Outcomes

SAN DIEGO, CA --(Marketwired - May 03, 2016) - The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today's technology and services organizations, announced its partnership with Outcome Chains, Inc., the provider of a new SaaS solution that helps build better maps to business outcomes. With the Outcome Chains software, TSIA can now provide its members a more intuitive step-by-step approach to achieve their service business outcomes leveraging TSIA research, frameworks, benchmark data, and other member resources. The announcement was made at the Technology Services World (TSW) San Diego 2016 conference taking place this week at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

TSIA has always focused its research on addressing the top service business challenges facing today's technology services executives. With the Outcome Chains application, TSIA can now deliver all of its most relevant data and insights in the context of specific service business challenges -- a virtual roadmap to success, known as "TSIA outcome chains." This software will enable managers to apply TSIA resources directly to their problems, empowering them with the information they need to make informed decisions and take focused action to accelerate achievement of their desired business outcomes. Each TSIA outcome chain provides detailed information around seven key areas:

  1. The specific target outcome to be achieved.
  2. The financial impact it will have on the organization.
  3. The KPIs to be tracked to predict the business impact.
  4. The technology recommended to improve KPIs.
  5. The best practices required for optimizing and scaling processes and operations.
  6. The roles needed to implement best practices.
  7. The capabilities required to achieve the outcome.

TSIA outcome chains address specific service business challenges affecting members in the areas of customer success, education services, expand selling, field services, managed services, professional services, service revenue generation, and support services. As part of the announcement, TSIA released its first set of 19 outcome chains for TSIA members, as well as a roadmap of 44 new outcome chains to be released by the end of 2016.

TSIA's president and CEO, J.B. Wood, made the announcement at the TSW San Diego conference in a keynote presentation. Attendees had the opportunity to see a live demonstration of the application, as well as preview new TSIA outcome chains during presentations by TSIA research executives. Current TSIA members attending the TSW San Diego 2016 conference will be given priority access to TSIA outcome chains before the tool is rolled out to the entirety of TSIA's membership community in the coming weeks.
