TSIA Executive to Speak at Dynamic Disruption Sales and Marketing Summit

SVP of Membership Development, Rene Grossrieder, to Present at Premier Sales and Marketing Event

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - August 10, 2015) - René Grossrieder, senior vice president of membership development for the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), is slated to speak at the Dynamic Disruption Sales and Marketing Summit 2015. This one-day conference, intended for sales and marketing professionals to learn from industry leaders in an interactive atmosphere, will take place on October 9 at the San Diego Marriott in Del Mar.

Grossrieder will be presenting "Grow Your Customers: The Transformation of Sales." In his session, he will outline the organizational capabilities required for developing and encouraging internal collaboration, along with the frameworks needed to land new customers, increase the successful adoption of offers, expand sell to existing customers, and increase contract renewal potential.

"The roles of both the sales executive and the salesperson have significantly changed, primarily due to increased adoption of cloud-based and subscription-based SaaS offers," says Grossrieder. "To drive new business, sales must develop a collaborative relationship with marketing, as well as customer support and services, to not only continue landing new customers, but to keep them coming back."

As a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience in sales leadership for the technology industry, Grossrieder has helped TSIA's member companies better understand how to drive their revenue and profitability. At the Sales and Marketing Summit, he will be sharing insights from TSIA's most recent book, B4B: How Technology and Big Data are Reinventing the Customer-Supplier Relationship, from a sales perspective and detailing how TSIA's LAER (land, adopt, expand, renew) framework can be leveraged to increase revenue growth.

"Sales no longer operates in a silo, and it's up to sales executives to begin thinking about the interrelationships of those who drive new business, such as marketing and sales, as well as customer support and services."
