TSIA Releases New Ebook at TSW 2015 Service Transformations Conference

"How to Avoid the 5 Most Common Mistakes Made in Managed Services" Featured at Technology Services Event

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - October 16, 2015) - The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today's technology services organizations, today announced the publication of their newest ebook, "How to Avoid the 5 Most Common Mistakes Made in Managed Services," authored by George Humphrey, TSIA's senior director of managed services. This ebook will be a featured resource at the TSW 2015 Service Transformations conference in Las Vegas, taking place October 19-21.

Managed services continues to be one of the fastest-growing segments of the technology services industry, but is not without its challenges. In this ebook, Humphrey references TSIA research and industry best practices to provide solutions for the common mistakes companies make when creating or developing a managed services business.

The subject and release of this ebook coincides with the topics of the TSIA Power Hour and Managed Services Workout sessions Humphrey will be delivering at TSW 2015 Service Transformations, TSIA's fall conference for technology solutions providers. His Power Hour, "Growing Managed Services: The Gift That Keeps On Giving" takes place on Monday, October 19 during the 4:15 PM TSIA Power Hour track. This session will present data on the correlation between key practices and key performance indicators that contribute to higher growth rates: total revenue, net-new revenue, bookings, base revenue, and other key KPIs such as profitability and client satisfaction.

Taking place on Tuesday, October 20 at 4:45 PM is his workout session, "5 Keys to Successful Managed Services Sales Growth," which he will be co-presenting with Bill Hall of Pretium Partners, a TSIA Consulting Alliance Partner. This session will focus on the optimal structure of MS sales and sales operations, a topic that is also outlined in the ebook.
