TTC Adjusts Subway Service During Weekend Construction

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 1, 2007) - The TTC will once again be diverting trains on the Bloor-Danforth subway this weekend, March 3rd and 4th, due to tunnel repairs near Bay Station.

Service on the Bloor-Danforth subway will be split into two separate services. Eastbound trains bound for Kennedy Station and westbound trains bound for Kipling Station will divert to Museum Station.

Customers making a through journey will switch trains at Museum Station. Posted signage and TTC staff will be on hand at Museum Station to direct customers to the proper train.

Bay Station will be closed. Customers should use Bloor-Yonge, St. George or Museum stations instead.

The lower level of St. George Station will be closed, and all trains will serve the upper level of the station.
