TTC is jazzing it up at Scarborough Centre Station

Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Assignment Editor, City Editor, News Editor, Photo Editor TORONTO ON--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 14, 2006) - The jazz sound of the Fred Spek Trio will filter through Scarborough Centre Station tomorrow afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., all part of the TTC's second annual Summer Concert Series.

Spek is a well-known local sax player, who often performs at various downtown Toronto nightclubs. He will be joined by Waylen Miki on keyboards and Ka-Cheong Liu on bass. Liu is an in-demand bass player who has worked with numerous well-know musicians, including Jeff Healey.


What: Music - Sweet Sounds Underground.
Who: Fred Spek Trio.
Why: To put smiles on peoples' faces.
Where: Scarborough Centre Station.
