TTC: Rocket Your Way in the City on the Labour Day Long Weekend

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 30, 2007) - This Labour Day long weekend avoid the driving hassles, as well as the high cost of parking, by taking the better way. Here are the service changes that reflect TTC riders' long weekend travel demands from Friday, August 31 to Monday, September 3.

- FRIDAY, AUGUST 31: Regular weekday service.

- SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1: Regular Saturday service levels. Subway service begins at about 6 a.m.

- SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2: Summer Sunday service levels. Subway service begins at about 9 a.m.

- MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (LABOUR DAY): Summer holiday service levels on most TTC routes. Subway service begins at 6 a.m., and all TTC routes will run on their summer Sunday service schedules.

RIDE THE ROCKET WITH A DAY PASS THIS LABOUR DAY WEEKEND! Don't forget to take advantage of the TTC Day Pass, which is good on Saturday or Sunday or Labour Day Monday! For just $8.50 per day, a group of up to six people (maximum two adults over the age of 19) can enjoy unlimited travel all day.

A vintage PCC Streetcar will be in service on Monday September 3rd on the 509 Harbourfront route.
