TU Group to Grant 10 Travel Wishes in Support of Make-A-Wish(R) Canada

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 10, 2014) - In recognition of its 50^th anniversary, TU Group, a longtime national partner of Make-A-Wish^® Canada, has committed to raising $100,000 to grant a travel wish to a courageous child battling a life-threatening medical condition in each province. The company's Wishes Across Canada initiative has already raised over $30,000 towards its $100,000 goal.

The next fundraising initiative as part of the 50^th anniversary campaign will see 30 TU Group employees challenge themselves in the grueling Tough Mudder competition this summer. With a fundraising target of $17,950, TU Group will be one step closer to its goal of granting more travel wishes like 16-year-old Ontarian, Jorie, acute promyelocytic leukemia, who wished to go to Hawaii to see turtles and float down a lazy river.
