TUA University to Host Planning Session for the 2010 IEEE GLOBECOM Event

Upcoming Conference to Feature Global Communications Experts and Be the Biggest Ever

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - December 1, 2010) - Technological University of America (TUA) will be hosting an executive delegation from the IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM 2010) Friday December 3rd at its Broward Campus, 40 miles north of downtown Miami. The premiere telecommunications event for professionals and academics is scheduled to attract over 3,500 participants and will be held December 6-10th in Downtown Miami, FL at both the Intercontinental Hotel & Hyatt Regency.

The 2010 IEE Global Communications Conference Exhibition & Industry Forum will showcase some of the world's leading communications experts and will feature Dr. Regina E. Dugan as the keynote speaker to open the conference on Tuesday, December 7th. Dr. Dugan is the Director of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) USA.

The Friday, December 3rd event is open to the public and will provide an early peak at the upcoming global conference. In addition, TUA will be conducting tours for their new cutting edge proprietary Lab set to open in January. This Friday's event will be an International Workshop on Computer-Aided Modeling Analysis and Design (CAMAD) of communication links and networks. CAMAD provides a forum for discussion of recent developments on analytical and simulation tools and techniques for the performance evaluation of communications systems.

According to Dr. Kia Makki, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs of TUA and the Executive General Chair of this year's GLOBECOM event, "We will shatter all previous records with this year's attendance and submissions.
