451 Research Releases Analysis of Tuangru and Its Group-Buying Model

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2014) - Tuangru, a group-buying platform for IT hardware and datacenter solutions, was recently the focus of an analyst report by 451 Research.

A global analyst and data firm with five worldwide locations, 451 Research regularly produces these reports on leading organizations in the IT industry. The Tuangru report was released on June 30, 2014.

In the report, analyst Liam Eagle found that Tuangru is adding new customers at an extremely rapid rate due to the value and potential savings its group-buying model can offer.

"The ability of the service to directly reduce the cost of hardware has a direct impact on the per-megawatt profitability of companies," the report reads.

Additionally, Eagle found that Tuangru's new reporting and analytics dashboard adds value for the customer. The report continues: "Its [Tuangru's] increased focus on analytics tools presents a new avenue for generating revenue, and is likely to increase the company's attractiveness as a supplier to larger hosting business able to negotiate significant discounts on their own."

In addition to its group-buying platform for IT hardware, Tuangru offers a reverse logistics program that allows buy-back and recycling for used equipment. The company also plans to add tools for one-click repurchasing and added intelligence functions for monitoring profitability, revenue growth and other key performance indicators.

All of these efforts, the report states, allows Tuangru to present a "fairly unique value proposition to the hosting space, and it has the potential to increase the value of its offering to clients over time as it grows and as it builds out its management portal."
