Investors may want to watch GeneThera, Inc. (OTC BB: GTHA), a molecular biotechnology company that currently provides genetic diagnostic solutions for the veterinary and agricultural industries, with future plans to include the health-care industry. On Monday the company announced that it has granted Beckman Coulter, Inc. the first right of refusal to license GeneThera's patented technology for the development of ante-mortem animal diagnostic tests. The company said this is part of a collaboration reached between the two companies allowing GeneThera and Beckman Coulter to share data pertaining to the validation of GeneThera's live animal blood tests for several animal diseases.

D&K Healthcare Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: DKHR)

Independent and regional pharmacies distributor, D&K Healthcare Resources, announced Monday that it has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by McKesson Corporation, the top U.S. drug distributor, for approximately $206.8 million in cash.

DKHR closed Monday's regular trading session at $14.30. MCK finished the session at $45.21.

MIV Therapeutics, Inc. (OTC BB: MIVT)

Biocompatible stent coatings and drug delivery technologies developer, MIV Therapeutics, Inc., announced in a report Friday that it has reported significant progress outlining the achievement of numerous key corporate and technological objectives for the first half of 2005. Among other things, MIVT said that it has systematically reinforced its strategic goal to capitalize on proprietary Hydroxyapatite (HAp) coating technologies, which have demonstrated consistently high levels of safety and biocompatibility in repeated scientific studies.

MIVT closed Monday's trading session at $0.85.

NutraCea (OTC BB: NTRZ)

NutraCea announced last week the results of the second phase open label clinical trial conducted at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine by stroke specialist, Dr. Glenn Graham, Director, Cerebrovascular Disorders Program and Principal Investigator and Dr. Wade Harris, Resident and Co-Investigator on the "Effects of Stabilized Rice Bran RiSolubles® on Inhibition of Platelet Aggregation and Lipid Profile." Dr. Wade Harris stated that, "Of the 39 patients who completed the study, there was an average of 12.31% reduction in total cholesterol and a 10.54% reduction of LDL cholesterol, which are considered to be statistically significant findings with a p value of .00367 and .00251, respectively. The triglycerides also were reduced by 10.31% and HDL levels remained about the same. In addition, there was a non-significant trend toward increased ADP and EPI closure time suggestive of an anti-platelet effect."

NTRZ closed Monday's trading session at $1.22.
