Turbine Truck Engines' Technology Expected to Alleviate Truckers' Dilemma

Controlling Fuel Costs an Ever Present Challenge for Fleet Operators

DELAND, FL--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. ("TTE") (OTCBB: TTEG) -- The American Trucking Association (ATA) reported in April 2009 that a one penny increase in the price of diesel fuel places an additional cost on the trucking industry of $391,000,000 annually. Fleet operators, squeezed by ever increasing costs, are avidly exploring emerging technologies designed to improve fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance. A leading technological alternative that many believe could be the solution the trucking industry is seeking is the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine Engine ("DCGT").

The DCGT is being developed by TTE and early engineering analyses suggest that it will reduce fuel consumption by a minimum of 30 percent.
