Turbo Genset Inc.: Appointment of Chief Financial
Officer

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 18, 2005) - The Board of Turbo
Genset Inc. (TSX:TGN) (LSE:TGN) ("Turbo Genset"), the innovative power
generation and power electronics systems company, is pleased to announce
the appointment of Stephen Sadler to the Board as Chief Financial
Officer with effect from 17th March 2005.

Stephen, aged 38, has held a number of senior financial positions with
high technology companies including Logica Plc and GX Networks Plc. He
was Chief Financial Officer of Host Europe Plc until its sale to Pipex
Communications Plc in 2004. He is a non executive director of DAT Group
Plc.

Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and has
a degree in economics from The London School of Economics.

Commenting on Stephen's appointment, Michael Hunt, CEO, said:

will be of great value to the Company as it moves into the next stage of
