TurboSonic Inc. Announces Receipt Of US$1 Million Order

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 4, 2005) - TURBOSONIC TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (OTCBB:TSTA), a leading provider of air pollution control technology, today announced its receipt of a WESP (Wet Electrostatic Precipitator) system order valued at US$1 million to treat sulphuric acid mist at a California chemical plant.

Commenting on the order, Edward Spink, TurboSonic's Chairman and CEO, stated, "This new order, which significantly augments our current record backlog, is particularly pleasing as it comes from a major chemical company with many locations across North America. We anticipate processing and delivering this order, which calls for a fast turnaround, within the first half of our current fiscal year.
