TurboSonic Signs Technology Agreement

Gas Turbine Power Augmentation Provides ROI

WATERLOO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 7, 2010) - TurboSonic Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:TSTA), a global provider of clean air technologies, today announced it has signed a worldwide marketing agreement with Optiguide Controlled Humidity Ltd, an Israeli company focused on humidification solutions for industry. The agreement gives TurboSonic exclusive access to Optiguide's patented humidification and humidity sensing technologies for use in gas turbine power augmentation applications.

Edward Spink, TurboSonic CEO, said, "Humidification to cool inlet turbine intake air can increase power output from a gas turbine by over 20%, providing an almost immediate return on investment. While the air pollution control equipment market is largely driven by regulations, we are enthusiastic by the non-regulatory nature of this new market. This technology has the potential to preclude the major capital investment otherwise required to increase power generation to meet peak demand levels. Gas turbine power augmentation adds to our extensive suite of air pollution control and evaporative gas cooling solutions offered to our customers."

Optiguide Controlled Humidity Ltd. is a world-leading provider of controlled humidity solutions based on patented technology that creates "dry fog" and controlled humidity without wetness. With thousands of installations around the world, Optiguide provides proven controlled humidity and cooling solutions in a vast range of industry and agriculture segments including wineries, post harvest cold storage, climate atmosphere, turbine cooling, and hi-tech industries.
