Turn Appoints Enterprise Software Veteran Gary Bloom to Board of Directors

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 9, 2012) - Turn today announced the appointment of Gary Bloom to its Board of Directors.

Gary brings more than 20 years of experience successfully leading enterprise software companies to Turn. He currently serves as the CEO of MarkLogic, a privately held Big Data software company. Prior to joining MarkLogic, he served as president and CEO at eMeter until it was acquired by Siemens Corporation in January 2012. Prior to his position at eMeter, Gary was CEO and Chairman of VERITAS Software, a $2 billion software company acquired by Symantec Corporation. Gary also spent 14 years at Oracle Corporation, where he led the company's database business, worldwide marketing, support, education and alliance organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of BMC Software and previously served on the Board of Directors of Taleo, a leading SaaS company acquired by Oracle.

Bloom's appointment increases the number of Turn directors from five to six.
