TVA Sports Brings the Hockey Experience to a Never-Before-Seen Level with two new Applications and a new Website

TVA Sports innovates with Videotron multi-angle replays

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 7, 2014) - TVA Sports innovates to give hockey fans the best experience with two new free applications, TVA Sports Hockey and TVA Sports, as well as a new website. Both applications are available for mobiles and tablets (iOS and Android) and the website address is tvasports.ca.

TVA Sports Hockey application

The TVA Sports Hockey app allows fans to choose from eight different camera angles to review a body check, a goal, or a save through Videotron multi-angle replays. This innovation is available exclusively to Videotron's TVA Sports customers during Montreal Canadiens games broadcast on TVA Sports.

The TVA Sports Hockey app also allows all TVA Sports, Videotron, Cogeco and Telus subscribers to watch live games and important game highlights via an interactive timeline, including all National Hockey League (NHL) games broadcast on the channel. During games, the app also offers interactive games and a chat room for fans.

Lastly, TVA Sports Hockey also offers hockey fans all the key statistics during games: number of shots, shot directions, point of entry into the net, comparing two specific players and more.

TVA Sports application

The TVA Sports app is the French-language sports news source for fans of all sports, such as hockey, football, baseball, tennis and many more. Throughout the day, fans can stay connected in real time to sports news through alerts, articles and a multitude of video content.

TVA Sports subscribers will also be pleased to know that the application will allow them to watch Montreal Canadiens games, as well as NHL matches broadcast on TVA Sports and TVA Sports 2, live on their mobiles or tablets, and to eventually watch other sports from the channel.

A completely redesigned website

TVA Sports now has a new and completely revamped website. Modern and friendly, tvasports.ca offers fans a wealth of information on sports and the stars they love.

The new TVA Sports application and tvasports.ca website now offer:
